  • No Architectural Design Fees – approximately a $20,000 - $30,000 savings as the design documents are used complimentary when we build your new home.
  • Volume pricing – because we build these designs in other locations, we have pre-negotiated volume pricing with our subcontractors and suppliers using readily available materials – pricing that is well below a normal custom home project – varies but can be as high as a 15% to 30% savings.
  • Shortened Time of Construction – Because the design you selected has been built before we can build the home much faster than a normal custom home. A savings of two to six months! Time that you can be enjoying your new home rather than in temporary accommodations.
  • Shortened Design Time – By setting up an appointment at a Wormald Design Studio, you can select everything you need to appoint your new home in just one to two days (countertops, cabinets, flooring, moulding, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances, exterior stone, etc…). The alternative of driving all over town to countless specialty stores for a couple months and trying to negotiate pricing at each store with countless follow-up phone calls can be daunting and is not the best use of your time.
  • Reduced Potential for Architectural and Construction Change Fees – it is not uncommon that when you start building your home (only ever seen on paper) you see something that you didn’t anticipate and don’t like. One problem: these changes can be very expensive both in terms of money and time. When you start with a Wormald design, there is a good chance that you can tour your desired floorplan before we ever pick up a shovel! This way if you see something that you’d like to change, we can redline the plans and get the change incorporated into your new home prior to construction! A savings of approximately 5%.
