Save Money. Save Time. Simplify the process. Build a design that’s already won awards and that you can often tour today. For some, the clear choice will be to build a Wormald original design. Here’s how the process works:
- Call us to schedule an appointment at one of our model homes.
- At the appointment, review our portfolio of plans and select a Wormald plan that is best for you. Sketch out requested modifications with a Wormald representative.
If you choose to build on land outside of a Wormald Community (on your lot or on a lot we help you find), we will help you research/confirm the zoning regulations including building restriction lines, HOA covenants, and other parameters that will impact what you can build on your lot. See Sales Manager for details.- Upon selection of your lot and your home, you will receive pricing and enter into a contract to build your new home.
- Conduct a one or two day color specification meeting at one of our Wormald Design Studios.
- Make arrangements for financing as necessary.
- Develop a detailed project schedule with a kick-off meeting of key players and regular updates throughout the construction.
- Manage government approvals including attaining a building permit and meeting with on-site inspectors.
Ready the site for construction (varies but may include items such as site grading, demolition of existing structures, water and sewer hook-ups, environmental protection measures, etc…). - Build with our award-winning team of master builders and expert trade partners!
